We don't go to church, We are the Church
Our desire is to not only be Real People, but to reach Real People... the broken, the rejected, the jaded, and the undesirable.
"Our church is a house of prayer," Matthew 21:13. Prayer is an essential part of who we are... it's our culture. We believe that prayer changes the mind and heart of God.
We are not Seeker Sensitive on Sundays. We are who we are and we make no apologies about it. Sunday is a celebration for us. We are "Seeker Sensitive" Monday through Saturday.
We believe that an encounter with God creates a sense of community in all believers. How can we be selfish when the same Spirit is in all believers.
The Lynchburg Church of God is a body of believers made up of REAL People with REAL passion and a REAL Faith.
We are looking for people that are REAL... with REAL problems, REAL issues, and REAL doubt on a journey towards a REAL God.
So come as you are... let our Passion wear off on you. Come find a genuine faith in a REAL God or just reintroduce yourself to the most familiar stranger in your life.
